Celebrating love and life all days ~
Every moment in life is special, not just some!
Birthday, Anniversary, mother’s day, father’s day, teacher’s day, friend’s day, valentine’s day, independence day, festivals…….
Many more days…….

We are beings and we have limited time.
As the time is ticking every moment becomes valuable.
Why not make every moment a special one?
The entire hype of a special day just remains to social media and people calling to wish - whom we just speak once a year. It feels like tokenism and a gifting circus. Some may feel overwhelmed or depressed around these special days of significance, based on their experiences. It’s great that some find it very exciting and meaningful and are happy to celebrate these special days. It is unfortunate that some find negative emotions. It also comes as a pressure for many as they believe that they have to feel, think, or act in specific way that they don’t like. Personally this hold true for me as an added expectation builds up.
Basically the “days” mean that time of the year, to be with friends and family and take time off of work to recharge etc.,
Can be done on another day as well. Why not?
Why to limit our emotions for a day once a year, repeating it next year.
There is a whole industry built on these “special days” and they will sell us the idea and notions that play on our guilt.
There is no need of a forced emotion on a particular day, it can flow any time and it can be spontaneous. A forced holiday can come with pressures.
Just a thought to raise above all these, to be a good human being every day rather than on a special day
And Rebelling against something superficial.
Everyday gestures and simple pleasures will always mean much more on daily basis.
I am just an observer ~ sometimes I will happily play along.
